Yes, those were the days that carrying a StarTak or Motorola meant you were a P.I.M.P.... Expensive with a build quality and design like nothing else.... Motorola was synonymous with Style & Exclusitivity in the day..

i've retired a razr, a timeport(the startac lookin one with the tricolor on black screen, an old gray startac and the tiny Vader with the black on orange #'s(the size of two kitkats) even an older school brick motorola where the talkpiece fliped out with green leds and the pullout antenna (trapezoid shaped) ! any other older phone i owned was a nokia 6120/6160 and a samsung a500 lol. I'm trying to get my dad to go find his cement block phone out the woodwork for even an old school snapshot, it was one when he use to use in his limosine, the old old old school cinder block style =p and thats why i own the slvr now, but heck if this is what i'm dreaming of ? =p hehehe

All I can say.. that the Canary is REALLY NICE...

Hey bangelboy you didn't by chance get it from a store in San Jose did you? They seem to have that phone displayed right now. It going for like $1300. The past couple of times I stop by they had a couple of "beta" stuff. Owner knows someone that works in motorola or something.

No, I don't get any of my Moto stuff from Cali... but that would be a great price for this phone if they still have it??? I'd go snatch it if I were you and sell it on eBay for some BIG DOLLARS!!
